This ancient fishing village, located on a headland of Mount Argentario, served as a strategic outpost of invaluable importance for centuries. Today, while it has become a fashionable destination, it still retains the evocative charm that so captivated Caravaggio. The legendary painter passed away right here, on the Feniglia beach, upon his return from exile in Malta.
